Bequests, which are gifts granted by will, trust or beneficiary designation, are a common way for people to plan their legacies, and there are may reasons to consider one.

For openers, a bequest allows you to plan a future gift while you keep control of your assets during your lifetime.  And, if your circumstances or priorities change, you can change your bequest — it's revocable.  They're flexible, too  For example, you can designate a specific amount as a gift, or you can designate a percentage of your estate.  Additionally, tax benefits may result from your bequest.

So, consider a bequest.  It's easy to designate Deep Well as a beneficiary on an insurance plan
